A nurturing primary school in Deptford with a dedicated SEN Unit is looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to support pupils across mixed age groups, all with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). This role is ideal for a confident and compassionate Teaching Assistant who thrives in a specialist environment and is passionate about helping children with additional needs succeed.

• Provide one-to-one and small-group support to primary-aged pupils with ASC, tailoring your approach to their individual needs.
• Work collaboratively with the SEN Unit team to implement personalised learning and behaviour strategies.
• Foster a supportive and structured environment that encourages pupils to engage with their learning.
• Assist with daily routines, promoting social interaction and emotional development.

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, particularly with children with Autism or other special educational needs.
• Confidence in managing behaviours associated with ASC, using a calm and proactive approach.
• A patient, empathetic individual with the ability to adapt to diverse needs in a mixed-age group setting.
• Holds an Enhanced DBS or is willing to process one through Reeson Education.
