English Teacher

Horizon Teachers are recruiting for a permanent English Teacher to work in a SEND school in Wandsworth on a full-time basis. This unique opportunity as an English Teacher will provide you the chance to join a highly esteemed English department inspiring a love of English to students with Social and Emotional difficulties.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering an engaging, inclusive, and creative English curriculum tailored to meet the needs of their students.
Key Responsibilities
·Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality English lessons that are accessible and inspiring
·Develop and adapt teaching resources to support students with varying abilities, including those with additional educational needs
·Utilise creative and differentiated teaching strategies to engage students and support their learning progress
·Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages students to participate, think critically, and develop a love for English

Key Requirements:
·Teaching qualification and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
·Excellent classroom practice/presence
·Enthusiasm and drive for working in a SEMH School
·Plan and deliver creative, engaging, and differentiated English lessons to meet the diverse needs of our students
