Loan Portfolio Manager / Asset Manager - City of London
Our client is an established, and award-winning lender that specialises in providing Bridging and Development Finance to their clients.
As a Loan Portfolio Manager / Asset Manager, you will play a key role in the management of the company portfolio. You will act as the main point of contact for developer clients; responsible for overseeing the drawdown of funds at various points during the lifecycle of each project under your management. This role requires someone who is proactive and solution-driven, with a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities:
- Acting as a point of contact for our borrowers for all loans under your management
- Reviewing construction progress reports and organising drawdowns for clients
- Visiting project sites to monitor the progress
- Organising sales of units and security release at full repayment of the loan
- Liaising and instructing professional advisers e.g., solicitors, monitoring surveyors and valuers
- Investor/funder and internal reporting
- Updating financial models
- Receivership and recoveries work, where required
- Analysing loan ratios and sensitivity analysis
- Reporting on the status of individual loans you are managing to the Asset Management Team and making recommendations.
Candidate:
- At least 1 years’ experience within a similar role is essential*
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and non-verbal reasoning
- Strong IT skills, including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel in addition to various internal and external programs and CRM
- Excellent communication skills
