Security Officer Nights - Martineau Place

Purpose of the Role

This role of full time security officer will be providing security, monitoring, and maintaining health & safety of the centre, working within a team of security officers.

External patrolling, liaising with the shop tenants, ensuring a presence to the public, performing daily health & safety checks in and around the centre, and reporting to the Facilities Manager and Soft Services Supervisor.

Monitoring public space via CCTV in a control room - SIA CCTV licence required, if not in possession of a valid CCTV licence then training will be given if the applicant is successful after a 6-month probationary period.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

• Excellent customer care skills
• Ability to work unsupervised and take responsibility
• Experience in security-based roles
• Valid Door supervisor or static security license
• Ability to remain calm under pressure

Working Hours

48 hours per week - 19:00 – 07:00 – Monday – Thursday

Salary

£11.57 per hour
