• Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships in line with FRS standards
• Preparing and reviewing corporate and personal tax returns
• Leading on VAT compliance and overseeing bookkeeping processes for clients
• Preparing management accounts, forecasts, and financial reporting
• Acting as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, addressing their needs and identifying opportunities to add value
• Supporting audit teams as required, contributing to audit planning and fieldwork
• Supervising and mentoring junior accountants, providing training and guidance to support their development
• Assisting partners in business development activities, including networking and pitching to potential clients
• Staying up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and accounting standards to ensure compliance

• ACA, ACCA qualified, or equivalent
• At least 3-5 years of experience in an accountancy practice, with exposure to a variety of clients
• Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements
• Proficiency in accounting software, including Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and nurture client relationships
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Proven experience in mentoring and supervising junior team members

• £38,000 to £48,000 per annum
