Project Engineer

Company Overview: Our client, a market leader specialising in the design, manufacture, and installation of innovative solutions for noise reduction and compliance with environmental standards, is seeking a talented Project Engineer to join their skilled team.
Position Overview: The ideal candidate will have a solid engineering background and experience in handling contracts within the site installation sector. They should have a particular interest in projects involving noise reduction solutions and a proven track record of successfully delivering projects, preferably within the processing, installation industry, or a related engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire project life-cycle, from planning and design to execution and closeout.
- Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and installation teams to ensure project requirements are met.
- Manage client relationships and act as the primary point of contact for project-related matters.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with projects.
- Prepare and review project documents, including terms and conditions, scope of work, and deliverables.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of services.
Requirement:
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to create and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Demonstrated experience in contract management, ideally within mechanical installation.
- Familiarity with EIA chapter drafting is beneficial.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar 2D/3D software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- UK Driving Licence required.
