We are a vibrant and welcoming primary school in Bexley, dedicated to providing a nurturing environment where every child thrives. Our school has a committed team of staff who work together to create exciting learning opportunities for our students. Due to a staff members maternity leave, we are looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated Key Stage 2 Teacher to join our team from December 2024 until July 2025.
The Role:
As a Key Stage 2 Teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of our Year 3 to Year 6 pupils. We are looking for a creative and motivated individual who can deliver high-quality teaching and learning across the Key Stage 2 curriculum, inspire young minds, and be a positive role model for our students.
Key Responsibilities:
· Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
· Support the academic, social, and emotional development of students.
· Use assessment data to inform teaching and monitor progress.
· Foster an inclusive, engaging, and safe classroom environment.
· Collaborate effectively with colleagues to deliver the schools educational vision.
· Communicate regularly with parents and carers regarding student progress.
What We Are Looking For:
· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
· Proven experience teaching Key Stage 2 (either as a classroom teacher or via placements).
· Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage pupils.
· Passion for delivering outstanding education and supporting childrens development.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.
