Key Responsibilities:
As a Divisional Financial Controller, you will:
- Oversee all financial operations for the division, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Provide strategic insight to senior leadership by delivering accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Lead a team of finance professionals, fostering growth, engagement, and high performance.
- Develop and implement robust financial controls to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
- Drive operational efficiency through analysis of financial performance and identifying improvement opportunities.
- Partner with divisional leaders to shape and execute strategic initiatives, ensuring financial alignment.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and capital expenditure planning to support business objectives.
- Collaborate with group finance to ensure alignment with overall company goals and reporting standards.
About You:
To excel in this role, you will need:
- A professional accounting qualification, ACA or ACCA preferred, with significant post-qualification experience.
- Proven leadership in a senior financial management role, ideally within a divisional or multi-site environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to distil complex financial data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing senior leaders.
- A proactive, hands-on approach, coupled with a strategic mindset.
- Advanced proficiency in financial systems and tools, including ERP platforms and Excel.
