We're looking for a proactive, detail-oriented finance professional to take on a pivotal role in a major infrastructure project. If you thrive on digging into data, auditing processes, and ensuring financial compliance, this is your chance to shine.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead cost assurance audits, review contracts, and track financial performance.
  • Dive deep into subcontractor records, payrolls, and policies to ensure compliance and spot risks.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to refine strategies and strengthen financial controls.
  • Compile and deliver comprehensive audit reports with actionable recommendations.
  • Stay ahead of risks, implement best practices, and help shape a robust financial control environment.

What We're Looking For:

  • Audit Expertise: Prior experience planning and conducting cost assurance audits, with a solid grasp of audit procedures and risk mitigation.
  • Contract Knowledge: Familiarity with cost schedules and the ability to assess associated risks.
  • Analytical Skills: Proven ability to analyse large data sets, identify discrepancies, and produce high-quality financial analysis.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal skills to deliver clear, persuasive reports and liaise confidently with stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: A proactive mindset to own challenges and deliver practical solutions.
  • Collaborative Approach: Experience working across finance, commercial, and procurement teams, as well as with external auditors and subcontractors.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous accuracy in reviewing contracts, policies, and financial data.
