Our client is looking for an experienced and passionate professional to join their expanding sustainability team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a wide range of high-profile projects across diverse sectors, including workplace, healthcare, education, heritage, sport, leisure, and residential. Key Responsibilities
- Developing and delivering net-zero carbon strategies and assessments (covering both operational and embodied carbon)
- Leading material lifecycle assessments, including embodied carbon analysis
- Conducting circularity assessments and providing environmental consultancy services
- Managing sustainability assessments for frameworks like BREEAM, LEED, Ska, and the WELL Building Standard
- Leading post-occupancy evaluations to improve building performance
- Overseeing environmental management systems
- Delivering NABERS assessments
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- Solid experience in sustainability consultancy within the built environment
- Proven expertise in delivering BREEAM assessments
- Strong knowledge of UK environmental legislation and its application to development projects
- Experience in delivering assessments under LEED, Ska, or WELL Building Standard
- Proficiency in preparing and delivering presentations to internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent written and spoken English, with experience in producing technical reports
- Experience using lifecycle assessment tools like OneClick LCA
- Experience with circularity assessments and consultancy
