Accounts Assistant -Credit Control

Location: King's Lynn
Salary: £22,500-£25,500 per annum
Job Type: Full-time, Temporary Ongoing or Permanent

Berry Recruitment are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant with a focus on credit control for a busy establishment in King's Lynn.

Key Responsibilities:

Job type: Full-time, Monday - Friday

• Credit Control: Monitor customer accounts, chase overdue payments, and maintain accurate credit records.
• Reporting: Prepare aged debt reports, update account statuses, and assist with month-end reporting.
• Cash Flow Support: Ensure accurate payment application and support cash flow by reducing overdue accounts.
• General Accounts: Assist with invoicing, reconciliations, and other accounting tasks as needed.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience in credit control or accounts receivable.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Xero, Sage) and Excel.
• Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills.

Education:

• AAT or equivalent (desirable).
