My client is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Head of Business Development to drive commercial growth by expanding the customer base, identifying new applications for its technology, and executing go-to-market (GtM) strategies. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to contribute to the biotechnology sector by helping bring innovative solutions to market. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams in sales, marketing, and R&D, playing a pivotal role in shaping the company's market entry and long-term success.
Key Responsibilities
Go-to-Market Strategy Support: Contribute to the development and execution of a comprehensive go-to-market strategy, ensuring smooth product adoption and successful market entry.
Market Research: Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify new applications for the company's products and uncover potential market segments within the biotechnology industry.
Customer Engagement: Cultivate and strengthen relationships with key industry stakeholders to expand the customer network and enhance the company's visibility in the marketplace.
Business Development: Lead business development initiatives focused on lead generation and partnership building. Identify new opportunities for strategic alliances that align with the company's growth objectives.
Sales Support: Collaborate closely with the sales team to support the closure of high-value deals. Leverage industry knowledge to address customer needs, overcome objections, and drive sales conversions.
Application Identification: Partner with the product team to evaluate and prioritize new product applications based on market feedback and competitive insights.
Reporting & Insights: Provide regular updates on business development activities, including market trends, partnership opportunities, and customer feedback, to inform the company's strategic direction.
