SEN Teaching Assistant

SEN Teaching Assistant required to provide 1-2-1 support for a child with physical disabilities and complex medical conditions. Are you an experienced SEN looking for a long-term opportunity supporting children with special educational needs? This brilliant school is looking to add a friendly and welcoming SEN Teaching Assistant to the team for an immediate start.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant you will be providing support to children with physical disabilities in a nurturing, friendly and supportive setting. You will be joining an outstanding team of SEN Teaching Assistants and specialist teachers who always put the needs of the children first. This role requires a Level 3 Teaching Assistant with SEN experience. 
Job Role:

• Supporting children with Physical Disabilities and Complex Medical Needs
• Understanding a range of additional needs
• Working as a Classroom Assistant /SEN Teaching Assistant
• Taking part in whole school activities and making school fun, engaging and beneficial for pupils
• Breaking down barriers to communication and managing behaviours
