About the Role and School

We are seeking a dedicated Food Technology Teacher to join a supportive and dynamic department in a thriving secondary school located in the heart of Newham. The school, which has been rated 'Good’ by Ofsted, is committed to creating an inclusive environment where students of all abilities can thrive. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work across KS3 and KS4, delivering a well-rounded and engaging curriculum that inspires students and supports their academic and personal growth.

What We’re Looking For

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (Will consider unqualified teachers with experience)
• Demonstrate a genuine passion for Food Technology, with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring and engaging lessons
• Have a commitment to supporting students at all levels, encouraging their creativity and practical skills
• Be a collaborative team player, ready to contribute to the success of a supportive teaching community
• Have the enthusiasm to engage and motivate students, fostering a lifelong interest in food, cooking, and nutrition
