Remuneration: up to £35,000 + bonus

The role of the CAD Technician/Draughtsman - Bespoke Joinery & Metalwork will involve:

• CAD Technician position dealing with a range of bespoke joinery and metalwork for shopfitting projects
• Liaising with clients to gain a full understanding of project
• Reviewing technical drawings from architects
• Producing 2D designs using AutoCAD / Inventor
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders providing support and resolving queries
• Ensure designs meet quality standards, building regulations, and H&S requirements
• Working on projects ranging in value from £30,000 - £500,000

The ideal applicant will be a CAD Technician/Draughtsman - Bespoke Joinery & Metalwork with:

• Must have 2+ years design experience within the joinery, metalwork or fitout market sector
• Must have experience producing designs for manufacture
• AutoCAD / Inventor experience
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
• Highly organised with good attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbally
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Good team player who also works well individually
