This is an ideal position for people who are looking to build experience as a teacher. Although the role does not require higher education certification strong transferrable skills are essential.

• Scouts Leader/Cadets Leader
• Extra curricular and activity leaders for adolescents
• TEFL/ESOL Teacher
• Teachers trained overseas

Day-to-day of the role:

• Stepping into various classrooms across Chichester to ensure continuity in learning during staff absences.
• Teaching a range of subjects and age groups, with each day presenting a new challenge.
• Engaging students and maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Adapting to different classroom settings and school cultures.
• Implementing existing lesson plans and ensuring a smooth educational experience for students.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a cover teacher or transferable skills.
• Maths and English GCSE
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• Adaptability, reliability, and effective management skills for groups of young people.
• Strong ability to build rapport with young people and good interpersonal skills.
