Randstad Education is working with a primary school in Southport to find a patient and dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a Year 3 student. The child has global delay which can result in some challenging behaviours due to frustration. They work on a bespoke timetable, which includes sensory breaks outside of the classroom. This term-time role offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference, with potential for a permanent position within the school.

• Provide 1:1 support for a Year 3 pupil, focusing on their unique learning needs.
• Assist the class teacher in delivering lessons and activities aligned with the curriculum.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Support behaviour management and encourage positive interactions.
• Monitor the pupil's progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
• Build a strong relationship with the child, offering emotional and academic support.
• Demonstrate excellent communication, patience, and problem-solving skills.
• Be available for an immediate start.
