Due to their successful growth our client is looking to recruit an experienced Real Estate Account Handler to join their team in London.
As a Real Estate Account Handler you will be responsible for providing a day-to-day service delivery to a mixed portfolio of UK and European property owner and real estate clients. You will act as a client advocate serving as a key contact within the account team working with an allocation of clients from varying sizes from commercial to large corporate accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing day-to-day client insurance programs, including obtaining quotes for both new and renewal business.
- Conduct research and prepare comprehensive renewal reports, adhering to established protocols for market presentations.
- Address client queries promptly and effectively, ensuring satisfaction by managing changes in coverage and risk.
- Identify and assess risk exposures, collaborating with the team to offer informed insurance and risk management solutions.
- Coordinate global insurance programs, maintaining communication with the international network as needed.
- Contribute feedback for insurer review meetings and actively participate in relationship development.
- Foster positive relationships with insurers, lawyers, and loss adjusters to create a broad and supportive network.
Experience:
- Past involvement in Real Estate or Property insurance, acquired through work in brokering or underwriting.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication proficiency, enabling impactful engagement with diverse stakeholders across various contexts.
- Personable and skilled in establishing effective, positive relationships, adept at both informal and formal communication.
- Commercially astute, demonstrating the ability to swiftly grasp commercial challenges and being motivated to provide solutions for clients.
- Possesses an analytical mindset, driven to comprehend and leverage insights effectively.
- Demonstrates outstanding organizational skills.
- Exhibits a strong drive to learn, maintaining a work ethic focused on continual improvement and delivering excellent service.
- Must have experience dealing with premiums over £20k.
